Our Story

Our mission is to create an inclusive and uplifting beauty brand that inspires people through the lens of Indigenous communities throughout Turtle Island.

Prados means “Meadows” in Spanish.

Cece Meadows started Prados in New York with $250 and one belief: Indigenous beauty belongs on every shelf.
Now headquartered in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on the homelands of the Piro-Manzo-Tiwa people, Prados became the first Xicana and Indigenous beauty brand at a major retailer. Prados continues to tell its story through collaborations with Native artists.

Our Founder

Beauty is a force for good.

As a proud Indigenous (Yoeme) woman, wife, milspouse, and mother of four, Cece's values of family, community, and service are woven into the very fabric of Prados Beauty. Her award-winning cosmetics line, recognized by Allure Best of Beauty, is a testament to her dedication to excellence. But Cece's vision goes far beyond creating exceptional makeup. A dedicated philanthropist, she actively supports her community, with a special focus on students pursuing higher education, veterans, and children with special needs.
