She is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes (Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara Nation) of the Ft. Berthold Reservation in North Dakota, and also a registered Treaty Indian with the Sweet Grass Cree First Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada.
